Cozy bohemian wagon on a picturesque island

On an idyllic island found in the Alkmaardermeer stands this special 'pipowagen'. On the island you will find peace, serenity and space. It is a unique nature reserve with rare birds, a beautiful polder landscape and old farms. A walk around the island (8 km) is definitely worthwhile.

The pipowagen is suitable for a maximum of 2 adults (or a parent with a child). The mini house on wheels is decorated to create a nostalgic atmosphere and equipped with many amenities. There is a cosy bed and a kitchenette where you can make coffee and/or tea. There is also a mini fridge. The caravan has a small shower room with a toilet. Outside there is a private garden with a picnic table, a barbecue and cosy seats along the waterfront. You can also go swimming and fishing. For colder days, there is a heater. At this bed and breakfast, you can book an optional breakfast (dietary requirements can be communicated after booking).

On the island of 'De Woude' you can enjoy hiking, swimming, fishing, boating or just grab a drink at a terrace or a bite to eat at one of the two restaurants (also open for take-out and ordering). You can rent a tandem from the owners to explore the area outside the island.

REMEMBER:
To get to the island of De Woude, you have to take a 2-minute ferry crossing for a fee. This ferry sails continuously between 06:00 and 23:00. On Friday and Saturday until 0:00 am. A return ticket costs 1.05 euros p.p. and must be paid electronically to the captain. You can park your car on the mainland in the parking spaces. The parking spot also charges a fee at the charging point for electric vehicles. By foot, it is about a 5-minute walk to the B&B. In case of emergencies, there is always the possibility to enter and leave the island outside the sailing hours.
