About this accommodation
This special houseboat offers a fantastic weekend getaway or a week-long vacation for anyone who loves water. The boat can be found on the water near the village of Heeg in Friesland.
The boat can be rented for a maximum of 4 persons and has central heating (therefore also bookable in colder months), shower, toilet and a kitchen with oven, gas stove and fridge freezer. In the cozy living-room you will find a two-seater sofa and an armchair to relax when the weather is less favorable. When the weather is nice you can enjoy the roof terrace with lounge set.
On the boat you will find 2 bedrooms. The 1st bedroom (downstairs) has a double box spring and a spacious closet. Through the windows you have a beautiful view over the water. The second bedroom (upstairs) has two large single beds. Here too you can look out over the water from your bed. The sleeping cabin is accessible via a loft ladder and has a hatch to the roof terrace.
On the location in Heeg Friesland you can park for free and there is a lawn where the children can play.
The houseboat is rented both stationary and sailing (only in the period from 1 April to 31 October). In consultation you can also sail this houseboat yourself after a short instruction. Some sailing experience is required. The fuel costs for if you go sailing yourself will be charged at the end of the stay. For a fee, the houseboat can also be sailed to the island in the Heegermeer or be moored to a mooring buoy (if there is a free mooring buoy).
In short: a wonderful accommodation for a short, but certainly also for a somewhat longer stay.
