Sleeping on an IJsselmeer cutter in Den Bosch

The authentic cutter from 1947 was formerly used for fishing mussels and eels. The ship was professionally renovated and furnished in 2020 while retaining a maritime atmosphere.

You enter the ship at the front via a safe landing stage and descend the stairs to the cabin. In the bow of the ship you will find the bedroom with a nice, cosy double bed. Next to the kitchen, with a stove and refrigerator, is a sitting and dining area (which can be converted to a bed for a third person). The heating allows you to stay on the boat even in the colder months. And in summer, you just enjoy the lovely weather on deck. The shower and toilet are located in a cabin at the rear of the boat. This is only accessible from the deck.

Staying on the cutter is magical for those who love special accommodations. You can retreat to the secure cabin to play a board game or read a good book by the stove. Because of the tight spaces and steep stairs, it is sometimes a bit of a struggle, but that is also where the charm of this boat lies.
