The tower room is one of the most romantic rooms in the castle. William of Orange stayed in this room of the castle when his troops were preparing for the attack on Maastricht during the Eighty Years' War. Nowadays, this tower room is a tastefully decorated suite consisting of several rooms and because of its round shape, with characteristic windows on all sides, it is anything but basic.
