Historical group lodging with an outdoor spa

Perched on a hill above the Kyll River in the Southern Eifel (Germany) is this former parsonage, featuring an extensive wellness area and an outdoor spa. The house is specially designed for large groups and families of up to 16 adults and, if desired, two children who are looking for comfort, space, and a relaxing stay surrounded by nature. An outdoor staircase leads you onto the fenced-in grounds, which are elegantly enclosed by authentic sandstone walls. From the terrace and the heated outdoor spa, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the rolling hills.

The Accommodation
Both inside the house and on the grounds, everything is provided for a comfortable stay with a large company. Upon entering, the stately foyer immediately impresses with a ceiling height of up to 6 meters, a beautiful staircase, and a loft offering a view of the entire house. From the foyer, you walk into the cozy, warmly decorated living room with comfortable sofas, throw pillows, and a view of the garden. The well-equipped kitchen features, among other things, double dishwashers, an oven/microwave, and a tall bar table for enjoying a glass of wine while cooking. Enjoy a lavish dinner in style with the elegant tableware and glassware from the dining room cabinet, or have a private chef prepare a full dinner right in your home.

The house features 8 unique bedrooms (themed rooms inspired by famous books), each equipped with its own bathroom featuring a shower, toilet, and sink. For the ultimate relaxation, the property offers a complete wellness experience. Inside, you’ll find a sauna area with a Finnish sauna, an infrared cabin, a walk-in shower, an indoor whirlpool with atmospheric lighting effects, and relaxing rocking chairs. Outside, under the open sky, is the 6-person Wellis Outdoor Spa, where you can enjoy a wonderfully warm soak under the starry sky—whether it’s sunny, rainy, or snowy.

Entertainment is also provided. There’s a playroom for the little ones, a covered movie theater with a ping-pong table, foosball, and a jukebox, plus a fenced-in garden with a patio, professional UV umbrellas, a large stainless-steel swivel barbecue, a sandbox, and a trampoline.

The Surroundings
The South Eifel region offers plenty of activities for all ages. From the house, you can easily hike or bike into nature along the winding Kyll River, or opt for the challenging hiking trails of the Eifelsteig. Canoeing, mountain biking, and visits to historical towns and castles in the region also make it a versatile destination.
