The Accommodation
The house exudes charm and has been furnished with great attention to detail. The cozy wood-burning stove serves as the warm centerpiece of the living area, and on the patio, you can enjoy the view of the surrounding greenery in complete peace and quiet. Inside, you’ll want for nothing. The bedroom invites you to a restful night’s sleep thanks to the luxurious king-size bed (180×200 cm). In the fully equipped kitchen, you’ll find everything you need, from a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, electric stove, and combination microwave, to a dishwasher that takes the work off your hands. The bathroom is equipped with a hair dryer and high-quality shampoo and shower gel for a luxurious spa experience.

You hardly have to think about anything in advance—all the bed, bath, and kitchen linens are provided, as are basic essentials like toilet paper, salt, and pepper. Parking is also free and right outside the door. Whatever the day brings—an evening around the fire pit, an active bike ride, a game of petanque, or simply daydreaming with a good book on the patio—here, you don’t have to do a thing. Just be.

(Good to know: the large grounds also feature an intimate cabin right on the water’s edge. Both accommodations offer their own privacy and tell their own story. They can be booked together for larger company or a reunion, but if you choose the holiday home on its own, the serene tranquility and privacy are, of course, guaranteed.)

The Surroundings
The lush green surroundings invite you to go on wonderful explorations. The Belgian Kempen is a paradise for nature lovers, with its vast coniferous forests, purple heathlands, and idyllic ponds. Set out on foot or take one of the provided electric bikes for a ride along the bike network. Cycle along the Kempen canals or visit the nearby historical Postel Abbey to sample their famous abbey cheese and beer. After a day in the great outdoors, it’s wonderful to come home. Would you rather visit a city? It’s about a 35-minute bike ride to Turnhout. The charming city of Antwerp is about 56 kilometers away.
