Lodge (sleeps 4) with wellness facilities in Overijssel

This designer lodge is situated in a quiet, slightly elevated spot surrounded by greenery, near the Vecht River in Overijssel. The lodge accommodates 2 to 4 people and features a private sauna and hot tub in the garden. Thanks to its location, you look out over the landscape, creating a sense of space, privacy, and an unobstructed view of the Vecht Valley. The accommodation is situated in a small-scale vacation park.

The Accommodation
The house is detached and modernly furnished. The central living area has large windows that provide plenty of natural light and views of the surroundings. The open kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances for those who want to cook elaborate meals or enjoy a quiet breakfast. Among other things, you’ll have access to a dishwasher and a combination microwave. There are two comfortable bedrooms and a modern, spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower. The toilet is separate. The interior is light and timeless, finished with natural materials and soothing colors.

From the lodge and the terrace, you can look out over the fields of the Vechtdal. The garden features private wellness facilities that blend seamlessly into the surroundings. Here, you have access to a hot tub and a sauna. Since these facilities are completely private, there is no crowding from other guests. Parking is available right at the lodge, and you can use Wi-Fi for free.

The Park
You’ll be staying at a small-scale park that is still under development. However, the park already offers a number of practical services to make your stay comfortable. There is a brasserie for lunch, dinner, or a drink. You can also take advantage of the breakfast service featuring fresh bread from the local bakery, and e-bikes are available for rent to explore the area.

Good to know: A swimming pool is currently under construction at the park. Although the main pool won’t be ready for a while yet, the little ones can already splash around to their heart’s content in the existing toddler pool.

The Surroundings
The Vecht River winds its way through a varied landscape of forests and meadows here. An extensive network of hiking and biking trails starts right from the park, with routes along the water’s edge or toward larger nature reserves in the region. In addition to canoeing, boating, or a dip in the river, the area also offers culture and history. The charming fortified town of Ommen and nearby Dalfsen are just a short distance away, and the Hanseatic city of Zwolle is also easily accessible for those seeking the hustle and bustle of the city.
