Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and unwind in this charming gypsy wagon, nestled in the green heart of Flevoland. Sustainably built and full of character, this cosy accommodation is perfect for families or couples who want to enjoy simplicity and comfort. Located on a car-free site where children can play safely and nature is always close by, this is the ideal setting to slow down and reconnect. Guests also get free access to a nearby nature reserve, where you can walk, swim and explore to your heart’s content.

The Accommodation
The gypsy wagon sleeps four and features a double bed and a bunk bed. Bed linen and towels are included, so you can start your stay worry-free. Inside you’ll find a dining table with chairs, a mini fridge and a kettle. Crockery is provided, but you’ll need to bring your own pans and a gas stove or barbecue to cook your meals under the stars. The shared sanitary facilities, including showers and toilets, are centrally located on the site.

Cars are not allowed on the campsite and can be parked in the shared parking area.

The Holiday Park
This holiday park is a paradise for nature lovers and families. It’s car-free and packed with fun, including an obstacle course and a large natural playground. Within walking distance you’ll find a beach and a natural swimming area – ideal for warm days. You can also rent SUP boards, canoes and bicycles, and fishing is allowed in the nearby waters. The beach pavilion offers tasty meals and drinks, either on the spacious terrace or indoors by the cosy wood stove. In high season, the pavilion is open seven days a week; in low season, it’s open from Friday to Sunday. There are charging points for electric vehicles, and the park is pet-free, ensuring a calm and safe atmosphere. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the site.

Swimming is possible in the natural water, but please note there is no lifeguard supervision – swimming is at your own risk.

The Surroundings
The area around the park is perfect for those who love nature, culture and adventure. Hop on your bike or lace up your hiking boots to explore the vast landscapes of the Noordoostpolder. Nearby, you'll find the mysterious Waterloopbos and the lush Voorsterbos, with scenic trails leading you past art installations, waterworks and beautiful flora. The bird-rich Zwarte Meer is also a great option for a peaceful day outdoors.

For a dose of history, wander the charming streets of former Zuiderzee towns like Vollenhove and Blokzijl, or visit the impressive UNESCO World Heritage site of Schokland, where you’ll learn how people once lived on an island slowly claimed by the sea. Planning a family day out? Head to the Orchideeën Hoeve to discover exotic flowers and butterflies, race around the track at the go-kart centre in Lelystad, or explore aviation history at the Aviodrome.
