This room with balcony is suitable for 2 persons. The large, bright room is located on the second floor of the castle. You can use the private bathroom with bathtub and shower. There is an extra large (220x180) double bed. And a (very small) balcony.
The owner inhabits the castle, and generally there are only a few people. The atmosphere is informal. Ideal for people looking for a quiet, informal environment. Breakfast included and can be enjoyed in the large kitchen/porch or outside on the terrace.
In summer the (heated) swimming pool can be used.
Nature and environment
The castle is located in a beautiful private domain of 20 hectares, with a large pond, vegetable garden, orchard and otherwise mainly forest. In the summer you can swim in the heated pool. The castle is managed by a V.Z.W. (Foundation in Belgium), and all income goes to the maintenance of the castle and the woods. In the vicinity are nice trips to make. Paira Daiza, voted the best natural park in Europe, is only 14 km away. The historical town of Mons (Mons) is also only 10 km away.

Deze kamer met balkon is geschikt voor 2 personen. De grote, lichte kamer ligt op de eerste verdieping van het kasteel. Jullie kunnen gebruik maken van de privé badkamer met ligbad en douche. Er is een extra groot (220x180) tweepersoonsbed. En een (heel klein) balkonnetje.
De eigenaar bewoont het kasteel, en over het algemeen zijn er slechts enkele mensen. De sfeer is informeel. Ideaal voor mensen die op zoek zijn naar een rustige, informele omgeving. Ontbijt inbegrepen en kan worden genuttigd in de grote keuken / veranda of buiten op het terras.
In de zomer kan het (verwarmd) zwembad worden gebruikt.
Natuur en omgeving
Het kasteel ligt in een prachtig privé domein van 20 hectare, met een grote vijver, moestuin, boomgaard en verder vooral bos. In de zomer kun je heerlijk zwemmen in het verwarmde zwembad. Het kasteel wordt beheerd door een V.Z.W. (Stichting in België), en alle inkomsten gaan naar het onderhoud van het kasteel en de bossen. In de omgeving zijn leuke uitstapjes te maken. Paira Daiza, verkozen tot beste natuurpark van Europa, ligt op slechts 14 km afstand. Ook het historische stadje Mons (Bergen) is maar 10 km verderop.
