The Accommodation
The lodge accommodates 1 to 4 people and feels surprisingly spacious thanks to its smart layout. Large windows bring the outdoors in and provide plenty of natural light. The living room features a comfortable sitting area and dining area with views of the surroundings. The open kitchen is modern and fully equipped, making cooking your own meals easy and enjoyable. There are two bedrooms: a master bedroom with a double bed and a second bedroom with two single beds. The decor is minimalist yet warm, with an emphasis on comfort and quality. Everything you need for a relaxing stay is provided, without the house feeling cluttered or crowded. Outside, the tiny house features its own porch. Here, you can start your day peacefully with a cup of coffee or wind down in the evening outdoors.

The Park
At this recreational park, there’s a strong focus on relaxation and rejuvenation. There’s always something to do—or, conversely, nothing at all. You can participate in activities such as (kids’) yoga, meditation, foraging walks, or a campfire evening. Or you can choose to hike through the woods, listen to birdsong, and simply enjoy the silence.

Hot Tub
There’s also a lovely hot tub on the grounds that you can rent during your stay for an additional fee. It’s perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking, biking, or just doing nothing, under the starry sky or at sunset. The hot tub is available to all guests and is therefore subject to availability. You can easily reserve it by sending the hosts a message after booking on Vipio. Please note that it takes approximately 3 hours to heat the hot tub.

The Surroundings
You’ll be staying in the Reestdal, on the border of Overijssel and Drenthe. Here, you’re surrounded by beautiful nature. This landscape is known for its mix of hedgerows, streams, old country roads, and small-scale fields. In the immediate vicinity, you can hike and bike along the Reest, one of the few unregulated streams in the Netherlands. There are trails through forests, meadows, and past small villages, free from mass tourism. The area is popular with those seeking peace and quiet and nature lovers who prefer the outdoors to crowded places. If you’re looking for something to do, you can visit nearby towns such as Meppel and Hardenberg, where you’ll find shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions. Fun day trips include Wildlands Zoo in Emmen (30 minutes) or Slagharen Amusement Park (15 minutes).
