The Accommodation
The cabin is compact but fully furnished. You’ll find a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable double bed (140 x 200 cm), and a neat bathroom, making your stay both practical and relaxing. Everything is designed for convenience, without any unnecessary frills. This makes the cabin perfect for a short getaway, a quiet weekend together, or a moment to step away from the daily grind.

Outside, the experience flows naturally. On the terrace, you can start your day with a cup of coffee in complete peace; during the day, you set your own pace; and in the evening, silence returns. It’s a place where nothing is required and where your attention naturally shifts to the present moment.

The Park
You’ll be staying at a lush recreational park where both activity and relaxation are possible. On weekends, during holidays, and on holidays, there’s a program featuring yoga, meditation, foraging walks, scavenger hunts, and campfire gatherings. At the same time, the wooded surroundings invite you to go for a walk, read, or simply enjoy the nature around you.

Hot Tub
There’s also a lovely hot tub on the grounds that you can rent during your stay for an additional fee. It’s perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking, biking, or simply doing nothing—under the starry sky or at sunset. The hot tub is available to all guests and is therefore subject to availability. The Surroundings
The cabin is located in the Reestdal, a small-scale and peaceful border region between Overijssel and Drenthe. This landscape is known for its mix of hedgerows, streams, old country roads, and small fields. In the immediate vicinity, you can hike and bike along winding paths beside the Reest, one of the few unregulated streams in the Netherlands. There are routes through forests, meadows, and past small villages, free from mass tourism. The area is popular with those seeking peace and quiet and nature lovers who prefer the outdoors to crowded places. If you’re looking for something to do, you can visit nearby towns such as Meppel and Hardenberg, where you’ll find shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions.
