Nature cottage in a green setting

Accommodation:
This detached bungalow is set on a 600 m² plot, beautifully located in the romantic Pressnitz Valley between Niederschmiedeberg and Schindelbach, at the end of a quiet residential area and right on the edge of the forest. The holiday home was built in 1980 and renovated in 2015.

The Bungalow (approx. 50 m²)
The bungalow features a living/dining room with a cosy seating area, a coffee table, a 42-inch LCD satellite TV (on request and at extra charge with streaming services such as Netflix and Prime), a large window with a direct view of the Pressnitz Valley, and a dining table for up to four people.

The compact kitchen is equipped with a mini oven, ceramic hob, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle and filter coffee machine – everything you need is provided. The bedroom has two single beds (0.90 m wide) which can be joined together into a double bed on request.

The modern bathroom includes a shower, toilet, washbasin, hairdryer, and an illuminated mirror. Bed linen and towels are available on request for a small fee. All rooms are equipped with heating. Internet can be booked as an extra service.

Outdoor Area:
The 600 m² property is directly adjacent to the forest and is fully fenced. The private terrace is equipped with garden furniture, sunshade, and two sun loungers. A barbecue is also available for a cosy evening. Two free parking spaces are available in front of the house. Up to two pets are allowed for an additional fee.

Surroundings:
Both in summer and winter, the Ore Mountains are an ideal place to relax. Hike or cycle through enchanting landscapes and enjoy pure nature. You'll find vast forests, clean air, and absolute tranquillity. Hiking and cycling trails begin right outside the front door, or in winter, cross-country ski trails.

Recommended excursions include Augustusburg Castle, Scharfenstein Fortress, and Wolkenstein Castle. The city of Chemnitz is about 35 km away, and Dresden can be reached by car in around an hour. Via the nearby Reitzenhain border crossing, you can also visit the Czech Republic. Discover the famous spa triangle of Karlovy Vary, Mariánské Lázně, and Františkovy Lázně – or take a day trip to Prague (approx. 75 minutes by car).

The Aqua Marien indoor water park in Marienberg, with slides, sauna, and wave pool, is open all year round. The possibilities for active recreation are endless – the Pressnitztal Cycle Route runs directly past the holiday home. The famous steam train Pressnitztalbahn can be reached by bike or a 30-minute walk. Motorcycle riders will also love exploring the winding roads of the Ore Mountains. A supermarket is about three kilometres away.
