De boomhut
De boomhut is geschikt voor twee personen (bed 160x200cm) en door de slaapbank (140x180cm) kunnen er nog twee personen bij. Binnenin is een keuken, pottipotti (alleen voor de nachtelijke kleine behoefte), bartafel met bijbehorende krukken, 2-pits kookplaat, servies, glazen, bestek en percolator. Buiten op het terras kan je heerlijk genieten van de zon, de voorbijlopende koeien, fluitende vogels (waaronder zwaluwen) en alles wat er in de omgeving te horen en zien valt. En het allergaafste is misschien wel het ‘zwaluwnest’ waarin je heerlijk kunt wegzakken (hoe tof ook, voor met kleine kinderen minder geschikt vanwege de hoogte van het zwaluwnest.) En lekker op grote hoogte aan de buitentafel zitten, turen over de velden, vanaf een gewone stoel kan natuurlijk ook. De Boomhut is in het weekend enkel voor minimaal 2 nachten te boeken, en vanwege de trap niet geschikt voor met een hond.

Als gast kun je gebruik maken van de zeer goede gedeelde sanitaire voorzieningen met o.a. vloerverwarming en grote regendouches.

Vanaf het parkeerterrein is het ongeveer 2 minuten lopen. Er zijn karretjes om je spullen mee te vervoeren. In natte periodes is het verstandig om laarzen mee te nemen!

De camping
Op het terrein is tevens een natuurkampeerterrein en eethuis te vinden. Dit is een bijzondere en aantrekkelijke plek, midden in de natuur, voor culinaire liefhebbers die van informeel tafelen houden. Lekker buiten als het mooi weer is, ontspannen binnen in de wintermaanden. De eigenaren ontvangen jullie graag voor een heerlijke lunch, borrel en/of diner op vrijdag 17.00 uur tot 23.30 uur en zaterdag t/m zondag van 11.00 uur tot 23.30 uur. Op zaterdag en zondag tussen 8.30 - 9.00 uur zijn hier eventueel ontbijtjes af te halen (alleen na je boeking direct bij de verhuurder te reserveren). Bij het eethuis is tevens een gebouw te vinden met een wasmachine, een droger, een schaakspel, een uilenkast, luie stoelen en veel boeken en spelletjes voor de gasten. Voor de kleintjes hebben we ook nog eens een trampoline, schommels en wat fietsjes.

Omgeving
In een straal van 25 kilometer rond deze accommdoatie in Drenthe kunnen toeristen volop genieten van natuur en cultuur. Maak wandelingen door het Mantingerzand, bezoek het museumdorp Orvelte, ontdek Kamp Westerbork of ga een dagje naar Wildlands Adventure Zoo in Emmen. Ook zijn er volop fiets- en ruiterroutes in de omgeving.
