Nestled in the heart of beautiful Drenthe, you’ll find this vacation home in a quiet and versatile vacation park. The resort and its surroundings offer a variety of amenities, such as a playground for the kids and a delightful restaurant at the adjacent vacation park. Near the vacation park, you can explore charming villages or enjoy the unspoiled landscapes that make Drenthe so special.

The Accommodation
This detached vacation home accommodates up to 6 people and is ideal for unwinding. You’ll enter into a spacious living room with a comfortable sofa, a dining table with chairs, and a kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, a combination microwave, a stovetop, and a dishwasher. The vacation home has three bedrooms, one of which is on the ground floor and features a private bathroom with a bathtub, walk-in shower, sink, and toilet. The other two bedrooms are located on the first floor and each has an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and sink. There is a separate restroom on both floors. The home is also equipped with underfloor heating, free Wi-Fi, an outdoor storage shed with a charging station for electric bikes, and two private parking spaces. From the living room, you have access to the partially covered terrace, which is furnished with patio furniture. The garden offers unobstructed views of the creek and the natural surroundings. You’ll also find a barrel sauna and a hot tub in the garden.

The Park
At this new and modern vacation park, there’s plenty to do for guests of all ages. Upon arrival, you’ll receive a warm welcome at the reception desk in the main building, where you can immediately get information or tips about the surrounding area. You don’t have to leave the park for your daily groceries—there’s a convenient mini-market on site. Business guests are also well catered for, with modern meeting rooms on the grounds. And if you’d like to explore the beautiful surroundings, bikes are always available at the bike rental shop.

The Surroundings
For those seeking peace and nature, this region is a dream destination. You can step right into the vast landscape of forests and heathlands, located within the unique UNESCO De Hondsrug Geopark, where you’ll even find three national parks. Whether you go hiking or biking, you’ll enjoy stunning views and the tranquility of nature everywhere you go. Not far from the resort lies ’t Nije Hemelriek, a beautiful recreational lake with clear blue water and a fine sandy beach, surrounded by forests where you’ll have plenty of privacy. For families, there’s a large playground next to the water, while thrill-seekers can head to the impressive DX Adventure Park, the largest open-air water park in the Netherlands. In addition, the authentic villages of Exloo, Anloo, Oud Aalden, Grolloo, and Gasteren are well worth a visit. Here, you can experience Drenthe’s rich history through historic buildings and charming streets.
