About this accommodation
This former motor freighter built in Belgium in 1940 is a so-called "spits" (spike). With its specific dimensions, the ship was specially built to sail on the canals and through the locks in Belgium and France. This ship is one of the most completely preserved ships of this kind in Europe. It belongs to the so-called Sailing Heritage. Since 2010, the ship hosts a B&B with a total of 6 rooms.
You sleep in a real ship's cabin. The ship's cabin is cozy and well-equipped. The modern furnished room has a double bed (140 x 195 cm) with a private shower and toilet. There is free Wi-Fi. You can also use the hold of the ship, where you have plenty of room to relax and socialize. The ship still has many authentic features.
The bed and breakfast is centrally located, easily accessible and near the historic center of Amersfoort with its nice studios and restaurants.
