The sun-soaked, two-level retreat has a large veranda where you can dine to the sound of the sea and enjoy BBQ or you can just relax and socialise in the communal garden.

With direct access to the beach, the holiday home is the ideal base to enjoy watersports like SUP boarding and swimming. Inside, there is a stylish, sea-view living area centred around a cosy fireplace and equipped with sofas, a Smart TV and an open kitchen to facilitate a carefree self-catering stay; guests will find a coffee machine, oven, fridge, food processor and a toaster at their disposal. The house is also fully air-conditioned and equipped with Wi-Fi, providing modern comforts for an excellent holiday.

Please note: The house has two entrances, one from the street side and the other from the beach. The house also provides an outdoor shower with hot and cold water and a shared garden.

Location

This wonderful sea-view holiday rental is located right on the beautiful Agios Ilias beach, with shallow and sandy waters perfect for families with children, sunbeds with parasols, as well as outdoor beach sports like SUP. It is also a short walk on foot to various cafes, bars, beach bars, a barbecue restaurant (all within 10 minutes) and even the Katakolo Port (15-minute drive) famous for excursions (trains, buses and taxis) to Ancient Olympia.

A little further from the port is the sunken ancient city of Pheia, now called Agios Andreas and the Katakolon Museum of Ancient Greek Technology, especially interesting for those who are classical period enthusiasts. Guests can also make their way to the main street of Katakolon to enjoy its vibrant atmosphere, cafeterias, bars, clothing shops and traditional greek products. In any case, the nearest supermarket is just a 2-minutes walk from a carefree self-catered stay.

Those looking for an active vacation experience will find Kalakolon’s landscape of low hills and forests ideal to enjoy hiking. In fact, the closest hiking area is just a 7-minutes drive from this holiday home in Katakolon. The nearest international airport is Kalamata Airport approximately, a 1 hour 40 minutes car ride from the beach holiday apartment in Katakolon. A damage deposit of 300EUR has to be paid locally.
