With direct access to the beach, the holiday home is the ideal base to enjoy watersports like SUP boarding and swimming. From the living room, a flight of wooden stairs leads to the loft where there is a double bed and a single sofa.

This wonderful sea-view holiday rental is located right on the beautiful Agios Ilias beach; with sunbeds with parasols, outdoor beach sports like SUP, and shallow and sandy waters perfect for families with children. It is also a short walk to various cafes, bars, beach bars, a barbecue restaurant (all within 10 minutes) and the Katakolo Port (15 minutes drive) famous for excursions (trains, buses and taxis) to Ancient Olympia.

A little further from the port is the sunken ancient city of Pheia, now called Agios Andreas and the Katakolon Museum of Ancient Greek Technology, especially interesting for those who are classical period enthusiasts. Guests can make their way to the main street of Katakolon to enjoy its vibrant atmosphere, cafeterias, bars, clothing shops and traditional greek products. In any case, the nearest supermarket is just a 2-minutes walk for a carefree self-catered stay. Those looking for an active vacation experience will find Kalakolon’s landscape of low hills and forests ideal to enjoy hiking. In fact, the closest hiking area is just a 7-minutes drive from the holiday home. The nearest international airport is Kalamata Airport approximately, a 1 hour 40 minutes car ride from the beach holiday apartment in Katakolon. A damage deposit of 300EUR has to be paid locally.
