Peacefully nestled on a sunny hillside, surrounded by the unspoilt landscape of the Italian Alps, this traditional-style chalet is the perfect place to regenerate from the stress of city life.

The pet-friendly property enjoys a large private garden with a view of Lake Maggiore. Ideally set up for outside living this wonderful space is equipped with a BBQ, a wood-burning oven, tables and chairs for alfresco dining and four deckchairs.

Inside, the villa is arranged over two floors. On the ground floor, the cosy open-plan living space is furnished with a wood stove, a comfortable sofa, a flat-screen HDTV and a dining table for four. This area also incorporates a kitchen fully equipped with; a cooker hob, a microwave, a Nespresso machine and a fridge freezer

The lakeside town of Intra a major transportation hub for the region is approximately a 25-minute drive away. The town is home to the Intra-Verbania railway station and the primary ferry terminal, making it a central point for travel around Lake Maggiore and to other lakeside towns. From here visitors can take the car ferry to the Borromean Islands and the Lombard shore of Lake Maggiore.

Outdoor enthusiasts can also reach a number of hiking trails directly from the house and the beautiful Giardini Botanici di Villa Taranto renowned for its incredible collection of plants from around the world is a 28-minute drive away. Parco Nazionale della Val Grande is a 40-minute drive away.

The nearest international airport is Milan Malpensa (MXP), approximately a one-hour and 18-minute drive from the accommodation. A damage deposit of 100EUR has to be paid locally. A damage deposit of 300EUR has to be paid locally for groups under 21.
