Originally built in 1913 this traditional Istrian stone house has been renovated but still maintains its original charm with exposed stone walls, brickwork and the original open-hearth fireplace.

Arranged over three floors the semi-detached house comfortably sleeps eight guests and enjoys an open-plan living space furnished with a large L-shaped sofa, a flat-screen satellite TV (with a games counsel) and a dining table. A stone archway leads through to a cosy kitchen fitted with; a small breakfast bar, a cooker hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, American fridge freezer and a coffee machine.

Outside the property is perfectly set up for alfresco living with a swimming pool, a large sun terrace with sun loungers, an outdoor shower, table tennis and a children’s play area. There is also an outdoor kitchen complete with a BBQ, 2 induction hot plates, a fridge and a dining area.

Bedroom 1: The master bedroom is furnished with a double bed, a wardrobe and enjoys access to a terrace

Location

The property is located in the hamlet of Stancija Grgur surrounded by pretty, coastal towns, medieval villages, vineyards, olive groves and dense forests.

The charming towns of Vodnjan and Svetvinčenat are a 12-minute drive away. Known for its production of quality olive oil, in Vodnjan visitors can learn how the oil is made through tours and tastings. Historic Svetvinčenat is considered a hidden gem, away from the more touristy coastal areas. The city of Pula, home to one of the largest Roman Amphitheatres in the world is a 25-minute drive away. Here in the old town visitors will find many boutiques, eateries and historical sites. Those in search of a sunny beach day are spoilt for choice with numerous options along the coast, each with its own unique character.

Additionally, the sports harbour in Pula provides opportunities for; diving, sailing, surfing, water skiing, canoeing and rowing. There are also many sports facilities in the vicinity including tennis, beach volleyball, hiking trails, climbing and bicycle paths with bicycles for hire.

The closest international airport is Pula Airport (PUY), a 25-minute drive from the accommodation. Please note that the pool is open from the 1st of January 2024 to the 31st of December 2024
