Night on the Gouwzee on a sturdy ship

Staying on this beautiful ship is a holiday in itself. From the spacious and comfortable wheelhouse or on the beautiful foredeck, you look out over the Gouw sea. The water, the surroundings and the view make you one with nature and you experience wonderful peace. There is a comfortable king-size bed in the Master Bedroom, where you will sleep soundly to the swaying of the waves. If you want to come with your family, or with friends, we have a 2-person box bed in the living room on the other side of the ship.

The ship is located in the marina of the picturesque village of Monnickendam. This village is definitely worth a walk and with its many terraces and cosy restaurants a nice place to stay. On the other side of the harbor lies the nature reserve Hemmeland, where you can take a lovely walk and settle down at the Strand 4 restaurant for a cup of coffee, glass of wine or lunch. Cycling in the area is a must, to the surrounding villages of Edam, Volendam, Broek in Waterland or to the Tea Garden in the polder. By public transport with you with 15 minutes in the heart of Amsterdam, the bus goes to a walking distance of 5 minutes from the port with great regularity.
