Luxury safari tent on the water in Friesland

At this beautifully located recreation park, you will be in your element as a water lover. This relaxing safari tent for 4 persons is located directly on the water. In addition, the small-scale vacation park is located in the heart of watery Friesland. Directly at the park you will find a small harbour and via a sheltered route you can sail right into the centre of the city of Sneek.

The safari tent
The luxury tent with its own spacious deck terrace is fully equipped. You can prepare your own meals in the fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, eat at the dining table in the tent but, of course, also on the terrace. The sanitary facilities in the tent consist of a shower, sink and toilet. The tent has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a bunk bed. Of course there is electricity in the tent, as well as hot and cold running water. On the terrace there are already two chairs and a sofa ready including soft cushions for a carefree and pleasant stay. Due to the clever arrangement of the tents, you will experience extra privacy. The tree wall around the recreation park provides the sheltered and cosy feeling, behind the trees you can see as far as the eye can see.

Boat and canoe rental
The vacation park has nine boats for rent: four sloops, three tour fishing boats and two Valken (sailboats). You are in the heart of watery Friesland with the Oudhof and the Witte and Zwarte Brekken at the end of the canal to the recreation park. This sheltered water is very suitable for sailing trips and tours with our motorboats or sloops. The Sneekermeer and the Langweerder Wielen are nearby and almost all waterways in Friesland are connected. If you want to be active on the water, rent one of the canoes or supplanken. There are a total of 80 canoe spaces in single or double canoes, or Canadian canoes that can accommodate three people. Leave the ditch, turn left and via a sheltered route you canoe right into the centre of the city of Sneek. If you are with more people, you can also rent one of the tour fishing boats with a motor, so that you can be towed should the trip be longer than expected.

Surroundings
In the vicinity of this accommodation, there is a lot to see and do. If you want to get groceries, you can go to the village of Heeg (a 6-minute drive away). Would you rather go to a terrace or go shopping in Sneek (10 minutes). Fun day trips in the area include Aqua Zoo in Leeuwarden (30 minutes) or the Kazemattenmuseum in Kornwerderzand (20 minutes).
