6-person glamping tent in the Dordogne

Spread over a vast 12-hectare site, this lovely campsite is located in the heart of the beautiful Dordogne region of France. The campsite exudes a rural atmosphere and is located in a wooded area with chestnut trees. Just 2.5 km away is Les Eyzies, known worldwide as the capital of prehistory! This family campsite offers a unique combination of conviviality and comfort, where tranquillity and a nice atmosphere come together. The tent
The tent is fully equipped for 6 people and has a spacious interior. Inside the tent you will find a complete kitchen with tables and chairs and comfortable beds. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, refrigerator with freezer, kettle and coffee maker. In the tent there are two bedrooms, one of which has a double bed and the other has two bunk beds. The bedrooms in these tents are separated by tent cloth! The beds are two metres long and suitable for adults and children. You can store your clothes in the large closet in the living area. For a nice shower, you can use the sanitary facilities on the campsite. Outside you can enjoy a meal or relax at the large table with chairs. For ultimate relaxation, there are two lounge chairs with all-weather cushions and a hammock with stand. And if the smell of grilled food makes your mouth water, the Outdoorchef gas grill awaits your culinary creations.

The campsite
The campground is suitable for children of all ages. You'll find all the facilities you need at the campground, including a playground for the kids, trampoline, table tennis table, pool bar and petting zoo. Need a bite to eat? You can do so in the restaurant with its a la carte menu. Every Tuesday a four-course menu with regional dishes is served. With all guests, you sit at long tables and enjoy the chef's specialties. The swimming pool is the sunniest part of the campground. The pool measures 22 x 8 metres and there is a separate paddling pool. This paddling pool is heated and safely demarcated by a fence. Near the pool you will find a tropical (pool) bar where you can enjoy a drink. At the bar is free Wifi.
In high season there is an animation team that organizes activities for children of different ages. Also for teenagers there is a lot to do! Activities are organized for children aged 13 to 17 such as ghost tours, hex camps or a night in the woods. In addition, the teens find each other at the ping-pong tables, on the boules court or the soccer or volleyball field. In high season, the evening bar (against the house) regularly hosts themed evenings, performances and mini-playback shows for children of all ages. In the early and late season, the campground organizes fun activities such as a hiking week, Bridge Weeks, a Camping Rally and a Prehistorun.

The surroundings
In the vicinity of the campsite you will find many activities for culture and nature lovers. Within a radius of 30 km you will find castles, many authentic medieval villages and beautiful nature. The nearby village of Les Eyzies is known for its many caves with cave paintings and cave houses and is definitely a must visit. The campsite is only 25 km from Sarlat and the caves of Lascaux. You will also find several hiking trails near the campground. Whether you are hiking, biking or horseback riding, the Dordogne offers the perfect setting!
