Glamping tent in beautiful surroundings (6p)

This luxury safari tent is in a 4-star campground located on the extensive grounds of an 18th-century castle in France. The campsite is located in the beautiful countryside on the border of Poitou-Charentes and the Pays de la Loire. Peace, space and comfort are key at the campsite, making it the ideal vacation destination for families. The large camping fields around the castle offer spacious pitches overlooking the valley or a playground for the children.

The tent
This tent can accommodate up to 6 people and has two bedrooms: one with a large double bed and one with two scaffold bunk beds. The beds are all two meters long, making them suitable for both adults and children. In both bedrooms there is a closet, where you can store your clothes. In this tent you will find a full bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. The kitchen has a complete inventory, stove, kettle, Nespresso and a fridge with freezer compartment. A high roof and lovely terrace let you fully enjoy the outdoors. A plus point of this tent is that you can relax in your own hammock and bbq on your own Outdoorchef Barbecue.

The campsite
Upon entering the campground, you come out at the reception. Opposite the reception you will find the large castle garden, where active holidaymakers can expend their energy. Think volleyball, mini-golf, table tennis, badminton, jumping on the bouncy castle or playing in the playground. Children can also visit the recreation room, where they can watch TV and play games. There is a heated swimming pool at the campground. The pool is not very large and not very deep, so it is ideal for children and manageable for parents. For toddlers there is a paddling pool. At the pool there are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas, so you can enjoy the sun while the children play. There is also a nice (snack) bar where you can take away meals and there is a small grocery store with some basic products. At the reception you can order fresh bread daily. Groceries can be bought three kilometers away in Ingrandes or at one of the weekly markets in the area. The park is fully fenced and ideal for children. In July and August there is a mini-club for children aged 4 to 12 every morning from Monday to Friday. Activities are organized where children go into nature. There are also crafts, scavenger hunts and face painting.

The surroundings
Near the campsite there are plenty of fun things to do. For example, you can go to the Norée caves or admire the castles in the area. The forest and the surrounding area itself lend themselves perfectly to a sporty cycling or hiking trip. If you like more adventure, then a visit to the theme park Futuroscope is definitely worthwhile. Futuroscope is a 60-hectare amusement park with more than 25 attractions. The Aven'Thuré park is also a fun outing for the adventurous.
