6-person glamping tent in the French mountain

Discover this lovely campsite in eastern France, amidst the picturesque mountain Jura, not far from Switzerland. The campsite is an oasis of tranquillity and beautifully surrounded by nature. For example, the River Loue flows past the campsite and you'll camp here overlooking a cliff. The campsite itself is a green paradise, both literally and figuratively, with countless trees, shrubs and lawns. But did you know that this campground also has an eco-label because of its sustainable approach? For example, there is an organic vegetable garden and the campground is located in a recognised bird sanctuary.

The tent
This safari tent can accommodate up to six people and is equipped with all the necessities. There is a nice kitchen for anyone who likes to make culinary dishes. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, fridge with a freezer, kettle and coffee maker. Inside the tent you will find two nice bedrooms, separated by a scaffolding wall. The bedrooms can be darkened and "closed" with a curtain. One of the bedrooms has a large double bed and the other bedroom has two scaffold wood bunk beds. The beds are all two metres long, making them suitable for both adults and children. In both bedrooms there is a closet, where you can store your clothes. In the bathroom you will find a shower, toilet and sink. The spacious terrace of 12 m² with a cosy picnic table and a comfortable three-seater sofa with cushions completes it. There is also a gas barbecue outside the tent.

The campsite
The campsite is especially geared to children. During the high season (July and August) the multilingual animation team puts on an unforgettable entertainment program. The animation starts early in the morning and during the day various activities are organised in the mini club, treasure hunts, shooting the bow and arrow or jumping on the trampoline or bouncy castle. Of course, you can't have a French campsite without a boules court. So bring your balls and challenge each other. You can also play table tennis and volleyball. In case of rain, everyone gathers in the recreation room. There you will find fun slot machines, a pool table and much more. On the campsite you will find a restaurant, where you can go daily in high season for breakfast, lunch and dinner. At the reception you can find a small store with some basic products and at the reception, you can rent things like rackets for ping pong and badminton, a bow and arrow, a fishing rod, giant Mikado or mountain bikes. There is even an outdoor sports ground!

Next to the campsite is a water park with an indoor and outdoor pool, water slide, relaxation area (sauna, hammam and jacuzzi). All camping guests have free access to this water park, which is located within walking distance just outside the campsite. The water in the indoor and outdoor pool is heated up to 28 degrees. Only tight swim trunks are allowed in the pool, so no shorts or bermudas.

Surroundings
The campground is located on the outskirts of the historical village of Ornans. In the area there are plenty of opportunities for action lovers. Go kayaking on the river La Loue or explore caves with a speleologist. Horse lovers can join horseback or donkey treks. Those who want to cast a fishing rod can go to the River La Loue, which flows past the campground. Culture can be sniffed at the museum Le Musée national Courbet, where more than 70 different works by Gustave Courbet are on display. A 10-minute drive from the campsite you will find the Dinozoo, a theme park full of dinosaurs and entertainment. The view from the campsite of the surrounding mountains is impressive. You can take endless walks here.
