Luxury tent on a unique castle campsite

This beautiful 5-star French castle campground is built around a 16th-century castle and is located in Southern Burgundy. The campsite is an excellent vacation destination for exploring the vineyards, picturesque villages and historical towns of Southern Burgundy. The spacious site consists of 2 parts. The older part is located between a 16th-century castle and fishing ponds. The newer part, where the playground is central, is more open. This tent is on a beautiful, spacious site between the castle and the pond. The castle campsite is suitable for young and old and is surrounded by beautiful surroundings.

The tent
In this glamping tent, convenience, luxury and comfort come first. In this tent everything is already waiting for you. Forget the stress of packing, because the tent is fully furnished; you only need to bring your clothes, toiletry bag and a radiant smile. This spacious tent, suitable for five people, offers an interior space of 25 m², perfect for a relaxing holiday.

The kitchen inside the tent is fully equipped with tables and chairs, a stove, refrigerator with freezer, kettle and coffee maker. The two sleeping quarters are separated by tent cloth and provide privacy and comfort. One bedroom has a double bed and the other bedroom has a bunk bed and a folding bed. Both bedrooms have blackout curtains, which will ensure a good night's sleep. The beds are suitable for both adults and children, with a length of two metres. There is also a storage space in the living room and living area. Furthermore, you can refresh yourself in the on-site bathroom and enjoy a nice shower.

Outside, the large table with chairs invites you to delicious meals and relaxation. Two lounge chairs with all-weather cushions and a hammock with stand offer the ultimate in relaxation. And for barbecue lovers, the Outdoorchef gas grill is ready to welcome your culinary creations. Whether you're cooking, relaxing or spending the day outside, this tent promises the perfect mix of comfort and adventure for your ideal holiday.

The campsite
At this 5-star campground, you'll find all the facilities you need. There is a restaurant, a wine cellar, a heated paddling pool, an outdoor and (small) indoor pool, a store and a cosy bar. In the restaurant you can enjoy an evening of typical French dishes such as escargots and boeuf bourguignon. Together with a nice wine you can experience a wonderful burgundian evening here! The pools are open in the summer months and heated, so the temperature is always right for taking a dip. Looking for more water fun? About 7 kilometres from the campsite you will find a large outdoor pool. The reception is happy to inform you about this. Do you like fishing? Then this campsite is ideal. In the campsite's large pond you can catch carp, perch, roach and more. In July and August sports and game activities are organised for children and there is a kids’ club six times a week, where children can play and do crafts.

Wifi is available at the bar and free to use.

The surrounding area
The campsite is close to the cities: Beaune and Mâcon, making it ideal for city trips. Spend a day in historical Beaune, famous for the colourful glazed roof tiles of the Hospices de Beaune. Stroll through the small historical centre with its 16th-century houses and tour the city walls. The wine museum can also be found nearby and is definitely a must visit. Furthermore, there are numerous hiking and biking trails through the region's enchanting landscape to explore.In short, it's a perfect mix of relaxation at the campsite and adventurous discoveries in the nearby cities.
