In a beautiful wooded area, on a cosy campsite, stands this beautiful and spacious log cabin. The accommodation is located in the province of Drenthe where there are many hiking and biking opportunities. The campsite has many facilities and activities for children. This makes it an ideal destination for families.

The log cabin
This accommodation is located in the middle of Drenthe nature on a family-friendly campsite. The log cabin has a furnished terrace allowing you to enjoy the surroundings when the weather is nice. The living room has a television, pellet stove, infrared heating through a panel and a comfortable couch. In the kitchen you can cook through the available gas stove and refrigerator with freezer. There is also a kettle and coffee maker. There are 2 bedrooms, 1 with a double bed and 1 with 2 single beds. During your stay there is free wifi and the campsite has parking facilities.

Dogs are allowed in this accommodation.

Note: There is only a toilet in this accommodation. Modern bathroom facilities are available at the campsite for showering.

The campsite
During your stay in this log cabin, there is plenty to do at the campsite for the children. In fact, the campsite has many facilities to make the holiday complete. For example, there is a bike and go-kart rental, a nice playground and in high season there is a store to pick up sandwiches, among other things. During the vacation season there is an animation team present. Outside the high season you can go to the supermarket located about one kilometer from the campsite. This accommodation is located at the back of the campsite and is therefore nice and quiet.

The surroundings
From this location you can very easily visit the dolmens or National Park Drents-Friese Wold. There is even a path leading directly from this accommodation. The park and the immediate surroundings are home to many beautiful biking and hiking trails. In some areas you may encounter Scottish Highlanders. There are also plenty of opportunities in Drenthe for a day trip. For example, visit the Hunebedcentrum in Borger (40 min), Wildlands zoo in Emmen (45 min) or the Boomkroonpad in Drouwen (50 min). Giethoorn (the Venice of the North) is also within driving distance (30 min).
