This accommodation is located in a park garden in a rural setting, with diverse and diverse natural areas just steps away. From your bed you overlook the fields where deer can often be seen. Numerous walking and cycling paths wind through the varied landscape of dunes, woods and heathland. The car can be booked all year round and the owners will be happy to tell you where you can spot the many badger setts during your cycling or walking tour, or which routes are best suited for touring by car.

The accommodation
This shepherd's wagon contains everything you need for a comfortable stay. The accommodation has a spacious layout. Upon entering, you walk up to the kitchen. This contains a handmade countertop, a refrigerator, cutlery, pans and an induction cooktop. On the side of the kitchen, there is a table with 2 chairs where you can enjoy your meals. From the double bed, you look out on the adjacent fields. You will often look out for a fixed group of grazing deer. The shepherd's wagon has underfloor heating and an electric fireplace for a warm stay. The bathroom has a shower, sink, mirror and a toilet.

The location
This accommodation is the ideal base for exploring the numerous natural areas of Southeast Friesland. It is an ideal area if you like to get out into nature. There are many hiking and biking trails that can be as long or short as you like. Nearby are several towns and brink villages where you can find nice boutique stores and cosy eateries. The landlords have great knowledge about the area and are happy to give you tips on nice restaurants and hiking trails.

Prefer a day of culture sniffing? The cities of Leeuwarden and Groningen are just a stone's throw away and are home to unique stores, cosy cafes and inviting museums and theatres. For a cultural experience, by the way, you don't necessarily have to leave the grounds. The door of the studio in the park garden is always open. Feel free to walk in and learn about current projects or become part of them yourself through knowledge exchange or workshops, for example.
