Nostalgic wagon in Limburg (2-4 pers.)

This special Shepherds Lodge (wagon) is very suitable for a cosy and unforgettable stay in Limburg. The 'shepherd’s hut' can be found on a nice campsite near the tourist town of Valkenburg (3km).

The accommodation
This is an ideal accommodation for a special night. The accommodation is equipped with all comforts such as floor heating, a modern bathroom, a cooking facility and lovely box-spring beds in the cosy box bed. There is also a bunk bed in the wagon. This is ideal for when you are on holiday as a family. Outside you will enjoy a spacious terrace with garden furniture.

Pets are not allowed in this accommodation.

The campsite
This nice campsite has various facilities so you can fully enjoy your holiday in South Limburg. In summer weather you can splash in the heated outdoor pool (26 degrees). The pool is open from (approximately) May 1 to September 15. Just outside the fence of the pool, all children (including the smallest) can play with water in a safe and fun way. Next to the pool, you can sunbathe on the loungers on the sun terrace. During the summer vacations, there is also a recreation team. Play, craft, sport or dance with them. Don't feel like cooking one day? Then take a seat in the cosy eatery where you can enjoy typical Limburg regional products. Also come and enjoy a refreshing drink or cup of coffee with Limburg flan on the cosy terrace. In the main season, the eatery is open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the latest. In the low season between approximately April 1 and mid-September open on Wednesday and Friday from 17.00h and on Saturday and Sunday from 11.00h to 21.30h at the latest. Fancy a tasty snack, a portion of fries or a pizza point? The snack bar is the place to go for a delicious quick bite.

Surroundings
This accommodation can be found centrally in South Limburg. From here you can step right into the beautiful countryside of South Limburg. In this typical Limburg landscape, you feel as if you are already across the border. Indeed, it feels foreign with its hills and unique landscape. You can also make beautiful hiking and cycling trips here. There are also several fun activities near the campsite such as the Drielandenpunt, Castle Hoensbroek, Brand Beer Brewery Wijlre and Toboggan run in Valkenburg. The city of Valkenburg is the tourist attraction of Limburg. The impressive castle ruins, beautiful nature and the cosy centre are definitely worth a visit. Valkenburg is only 3 kilometres from the campsite. Prefer to visit a slightly larger city? Then take a day trip to Maastricht. Here you will find many nice stores, restaurants and terraces.
