B&B with beach

If you are looking for a peaceful wellness holiday, you have come to the right place at this B&B. A former horse stable has been transformed using purely natural materials into this atmospheric retreat for two, with an interior completely inspired by the beach. Thanks to the private entrance, you will enjoy ultimate privacy here. From your room, you can walk straight into the large, wooded garden towards the lovely private beach by the swimming pond. For the ultimate relaxation, complete your stay with a visit to the sauna and the wood-fired hot tub on the grounds.

The accommodation
The moment you step inside, you are embraced by a fresh beach atmosphere. The interior instantly transports you to the coast with beautiful blue tones, wicker accents, and seagulls that seem to fly across the walls. You will sleep wonderfully in a comfortable, extra-long box spring bed (160 x 210 cm). The bathroom is equipped with a nice shower and sink, and the toilet is located in a separate room. In addition, the room is fully equipped with all modern comforts: there is underfloor heating for colder days, air conditioning for warm summer days, and a television with Netflix for a relaxing evening in.

In the cosy dining area, you will find a table and chairs, fine coffee and tea facilities, and a stocked minibar with chilled drinks (the cost of these can be settled upon departure). Start your day right with a delicious, fresh local breakfast delivered to your doorstep in a basket every morning. Weather permitting, you can enjoy this breakfast outside, taking in the singing birds and the peaceful surroundings.

The grounds
Nestled in the park-like garden surrounding the accommodation is a beautiful, natural swimming pond with a sandy beach of no less than 200 metres, complete with swaying palm trees. Right on this beach, you will find a cosy beach bar—the perfect spot to pour yourself a refreshing drink and experience that ultimate holiday feeling. Nature lovers can indulge themselves at the wildlife-spotting area, where deer regularly pass by the edge of the forest. For an extra cheerful touch, three friendly mini-pigs roam around in their own enclosed section of the garden.

Wellness
A hot tub and sauna are also located on the grounds. Because these can also be booked by other guests, they are subject to availability. After booking, you will receive a confirmation email with the owner's contact details to reserve the wellness facilities. The use of these facilities is available for an additional fee.

The surroundings
An overnight stay in this room guarantees absolute tranquility. The accommodation is located right in the heart of the Eese and Woldberg forest area in Overijssel. From your retreat, you can easily walk to various restaurants and cafes, and several hiking and cycling routes run directly past the property. Want to explore the wider area? Be sure to visit nearby Giethoorn, often referred to as the Venice of the North. Other charming towns and nature reserves such as Steenwijk, Weerribben-Wieden National Park, Havelte, and Frederiksoord are also within easy reach.
