B&B in the forest with private swimming pond

This charming retreat, once a characteristic horse stable, has been beautifully converted into a rustic B&B with two unique rooms, each featuring its own private entrance for ultimate privacy. The accommodation is tucked away in a large, wooded garden where you can completely unwind on the idyllic private beach by the swimming pond. For the ultimate wellness experience, you can also make use of the sauna and wood-fired hot tub on the grounds during your stay.

The accommodation
The room itself exudes peace and comfort. You will sleep wonderfully in an extra-long, luxurious kingsize box spring bed ($180 \times 210$ cm). The open-plan bathroom is fully equipped with modern comforts, including a delightful rain shower, a double sink, and a separate toilet. In addition, the room features underfloor heating for colder days, air conditioning for warm summer days, and a television with Netflix.In the cosy dining area, you will find fine coffee and tea facilities and a stocked minibar with chilled drinks (the cost of these can be settled upon departure). Start your day right with a delicious, fresh local breakfast delivered to your doorstep in a basket every morning. Weather permitting, you can enjoy this breakfast on your spacious private terrace bordering the edge of the forest, while taking in the singing birds and the tranquil surroundings.

The B&B
Nestled in the park-like garden is a beautiful, natural swimming pond with a sandy beach of no less than 200 metres, complete with swaying palm trees. Right on this beach, you will find a cosy beach bar—the perfect spot to pour yourself a refreshing drink and experience that ultimate holiday feeling. Nature lovers can indulge themselves at the wildlife-spotting area, where deer regularly pass by the edge of the forest. For an extra cheerful touch, three friendly mini-pigs roam around in their own enclosed section of the garden.

Wellness
A hot tub and sauna are also located on the grounds. Because these can also be booked by other guests, they are subject to availability. After booking, you will receive a confirmation email with the owner's contact details to reserve the wellness facilities. The use of these facilities is available for an additional fee.

The surroundings
An overnight stay in this room guarantees absolute tranquility. The accommodation is located right in the heart of the Eese and Woldberg forest area in Overijssel. From your retreat, you can easily walk to various restaurants and cafes, and several hiking and cycling routes run directly past the B&B. Want to explore the wider area? Be sure to visit nearby Giethoorn, often referred to as the Venice of the North. Other charming towns and nature reserves such as Steenwijk, Weerribben-Wieden National Park, Havelte, and Frederiksoord are also within easy reach.
