Fresh air & enjoyment on Terschelling

This fine cottage is located on a very nice, sustainable and small-scale vacation park in the middle of the beautiful island of Terschelling. The park is quietly located between the village of Midsland (about 800 meters) and the North Sea beach (about 1.5 km). Forest, dunes, walking and cycling routes and bus stop are close by.

The holiday home
The cottage is fully equipped and is the perfect base to discover Terschelling. The holiday home has a total of 3 bedrooms, 1 with a double bed and 2 bedrooms with bunk beds each. There is also a living room with an open kitchen (including a fridge, freezer, stove and dishwasher). The air conditioning heats in winter and cools in summer. The bathroom has a rain shower and sink. There is a separate toilet. Finally, there is also a storage room with washer and dryer. Outside you enjoy your private terrace facing south. On the terrace there is also a pizza oven. The cottage has a good internet connection via wifi.

Terschelling
Like all other Wadden Islands, Terschelling is known for its tranquillity, cosiness and beautiful nature. Terschelling is famous for its vast sandy beaches, dunes, forests and the Wadden area. The island is a paradise for nature lovers and offers excellent opportunities for hiking, cycling and bird-watching. A must-see on the island is, of course, the Brandaris. This lighthouse built in 1594 is the oldest lighthouse in the Netherlands. The island is also known for its cranberries. According to a local legend, the cranberry berry was accidentally introduced to Terschelling when a barrel of berries washed up on the beach. During low tide, it is possible to take mudflat tours from Terschelling, where visitors can explore the bottom of the Wadden Sea on foot. Of course, you will also find several restaurants on the island where you can go for delicious lunches and dinners.
