In this glamping accommodation you experience real camping with a little luxury. Outside the spacious tent you have a private terrace with beautiful views of the countryside. The tent can be found on a small-scale eco-camping near the city of Groningen.

The accommodation
This spacious group tent on a wooden deck on the edge of the forest is the ideal place for families and groups of friends seeking a secluded location. Here you will enjoy ultimate privacy with a beautiful view over the fields. The tent features 4 comfortable bunk beds, a spacious sofa and a table for working together or playing a game. The pale yellow beds have thick mattresses with electric blankets for cold nights, extra wool comforters and lovely thick comforters. In autumn, the authentic Norwegian wood stove can be lit in the evening. After a good night's sleep you can grab your (study) book, get a cup of coffee from the outdoor kitchen and find your spot on the spacious veranda overlooking the meadows. The toilets, spacious showers and outdoor kitchen are within walking distance of the tent.

The eco-camping
The safari tent is located on a cosy eco-camping site in the municipality of Groningen. It is a real community campsite with a shared kitchen and a central campfire. The campsite has a lovely hot tub that you can book in for a 3-hour session. The location is beautiful, among the trees with the whistling birds all around you. The campsite is located on the outskirts of the city of Groningen. By bike you are within half an hour in the center of this beautiful city.

Cooking
The camping kitchen aka 'The Saloon' is pretty much the heart of the campsite. Breakfast is served here and dinner in the evening. During the day, people play games here, have a cup of tea or read a book. We also light the cosy (and famous) campfire here in the evening. Would you like to cook yourself? Of course you can. In addition to two refrigerators and two sinks, there is a stove, kettle and coffee maker. There are also plates, cups, glasses, cutlery and a dishwasher. And there are toilets nearby. Note: If you want to cook for yourself, don't forget to bring all the ingredients before you arrive here (there is no supermarket nearby).
