Here you have a beautiful view of both forest and meadow. Tranquility is the first thing that strikes guests, the birdsong is the main musical note. A few steps from the cottage begins a beautiful forest with further on a heath. Regularly a roe deer can be seen or an owl can be heard. The accommodation is suitable for up to 3 guests and is within cycling and walking distance of the cozy village of Vorden, with numerous stores and restaurants. The Pieterpad is 200 meters away. The cottage is located on an estate with a number of other cottages.
This nature cottage is built entirely of natural materials: wood, wood fiber boards as insulation, mud walls and slates on the roof. It consists of 3 segments: living room, kitchen and bathroom/bedroom. Because of its octagonal shape, it gives a feeling of enclosure and because of the natural materials, a feeling of tranquility. The furniture was designed and made by two wood artists. The cottage is heated by underfloor heating but the pump of the underfloor heating is not in the house itself and there are no mechanical noises apart from the dishwasher. It has a fixed internet connection because efforts have been made to make the cottages as radiation-free as possible. So also for radiation sensitive people very suitable.
The sauna can be used for a fee (25 euros per time, maximum 4 hours).

Hier heb je een prachtig uitzicht op zowel bos als weide. De rust is het eerste wat gasten treft, de vogelgeluiden zijn de belangrijkste muzikale noot. Op een paar passen van het huisje begint een prachtig bos met verderop een heideveldje. Regelmatig is er een ree te zien of een uil te horen. De accommodatie is geschikt voor maximaal 3 gasten en ligt op fiets- en loopafstand van het gezellige dorp Vorden, met tal van winkels en restaurantjes. Het Pieterpad ligt op 200 meter afstand. Het huisje ligt op een landgoed met een aantal andere huisjes.
Dit natuurhuisje is volledig gebouwd van natuurlijke materialen: hout, houtvezelplaten als isolatie, lemen muren en leien op het dak. Het bestaat uit 3 segmenten: woonkamer, keuken en badkamer/slaapkamer. Door de achthoekige vorm geeft het een gevoel van omhulling en door de natuurlijke materialen een gevoel van rust. De meubels zijn ontworpen en gemaakt door twee houtkunstenaars. Het huisje wordt verwarmd door vloerverwarming maar de pomp van de vloerverwarming zit niet in het huis zelf en er zijn behalve de vaatwasser geen mechanische geluiden. Het beschikt over een vaste internet aansluiting omdat ernaar gestreefd is de huisjes zo stralingsvrij mogelijk te maken. Dus ook voor stralingsgevoelige mensen zeer geschikt.
Er kan tegen vergoeding gebruik gemaakt worden van de sauna (25 euro per keer, maximaal 4 uur).

Beautiful location, enjoying nature and silence and the diversity of birds and plants. We slept wonderfully in the shepherds hut, and were woken by the birds. A pleasant stay and returned home recharged.
Prachtige locatie, genieten van de natuur en stilte en de diversiteit aan vogels en planten. Wij hebben heerlijk geslapen in de pipowagen, en werden gewekt door de vogels. Een prettig verblijf en weer opgeladen naar huis.

The cottage is in a beautiful place. It is quiet, you can hear many birds. The landlady is very friendly and helpful. From the field you walk straight into the woods. It is close to several cycling and hiking trails. It is a nice cottage.
Het huisje staat op een mooie plek. Het is er rustig, je hoort veel vogels. De verhuurster is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Vanaf het veld loop je zo de bossen in. Het is dicht bij verschillende fiets- en wandelroutes. Het is een fijn huisje.

A beautiful well maintained estate with spaciously set up lodges (cottage). Spacious kitchen and living room. Good bathroom and lovely beds. A very friendly, helpful owner. Definitely a place to recommend to unwind.
Een prachtig goed onderhouden landgoed met ruim op gezette lodges (huisje). Ruime keuken en woonkamer. Goede badkamer en heerlijke bedden. Een zeer vriendelijke, behulpzame eigenaresse. Zeker een plek om aan te raden om heerlijk tot rust te komen.
