Sustainable forest cabin with unique design

Surrender to the elements. Literally! In this beautiful cabin, experience nature in its purest form. Feel the wind blow over the blankets, dream away at an endless starry sky and wake up to the sound of the birds. By playing with the interior and exterior layers of the cabin, you are always connected to the environment. Slide the glass and wooden shells and determine the atmosphere you want at that moment. Thus, when the weather is nice, you can open your cabin completely and sleep in the open air.

The cabin
In the nature cabin, you will find a lovely double bed with down comforters and two single beds in the ridge, which can be reached by stairs. You also have access to a fully equipped kitchen, a closed wood-burning stove and a shower and toilet. Eye-catcher is the generous bathtub, which is hidden in the floor. This accommodation is located in a forest that is only accessible to the guests staying in the cabins. Thus, there is more than enough privacy.

Occupancy maximum 2 adults and 2 children (up to 18 years), no pets are allowed. Breakfast is included in the price.

Sustainability
Only high-quality natural materials have been used for construction. The exterior is made of high-quality sustainable Accoya wood. The outer shell of is made of Larix wood which grows in the area. The cabin is built with different materials to ensure the best durability and strength. Other main components include birch plywood, a steel roof HR+ double glazing. The kitchen and shower are made of wood and stainless steel. The two layers are supported by industrial wheels guided by support rails.

Environment
This cabin, along with several other cabins, can be found in a forest that forms the gateway to the heart of De Maashorst. This primaeval area originated in the ice age and has a special history. Here the three large grazers of our country reign; the wisent, the Taurus and the Exmoor pony. Imagine yourself in a world of peace and quiet. Spot the large grazers, experience rare natural gems and discover exciting primal treasures. Explore the various landscapes on foot or by bicycle and get to know vast heathlands, rich woodlands and marshy pointing grounds. Go out and be enchanted. Besides the beautiful nature, you will also find nice cities nearby with museums, stores and cosy terraces. For example, the cities of Den Bosch and Nijmegen are both about a 25-minute drive from this location. Within walking distance of the accommodation, you will find a restaurant where you can go every day for lunch and a cosy cup of coffee. In the accommodation is also a map with various suggestions where you can dine in the area.
