Authentic, medieval tower

This medieval tower is one of three remaining city wall towers in Zwolle. The capital of Overijssel is almost 1,000 years old and has a rich history. The iconic tower was built around 1475-1500 and has the status of a national monument. Since 2016, a unique B&B has been established in the tower with a unique possibility to stay the night.

The historic old walls in combination with the special lighting make this room a very comfortable and attractive space. You sleep on a large double bed that is centrally located in the room. The specially-designed headboard also serves as a closet. Because it is pitch dark in the room at night, you can enjoy a long and deep night's sleep. The character of the medieval tower can be felt very well in the room. The carefully chosen art objects complete the picture. It is also possible to stay here with 3 people. A single bed will be added to the room.

The room in this bed and breakfast also has a seating area, a smart TV and facilities for making tea and coffee (Nespresso). Tea and coffee are free of charge. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink. There is also free Wi-Fi. The room has a private entrance.

On the top of the tower, there is a beautiful rooftop terrace, where you can enjoy a lovely drink!

The tower is located in the center of Zwolle. Within walking distance, you will find all kinds of nice restaurants, terraces and stores. There is plenty to do in Zwolle and the surrounding area. Take a day trip to Giethoorn, Deventer or visit the amusement park Slagharen. If you like museums, then a visit to Museum de Fundatie in Zwolle is definitely worthwhile.
