Lodge with stunning views in the Ardennes

This lovely holiday home is beautifully hidden among the trees on a hill and seems straight out of a fairy tale book. It has a unique view and is particularly stylish and very comfortably furnished. The personal touch of the owners is palpable: works of art, books, CD and DVD collection, many nice details, ... It creates a homely atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The lodge is located on a small private vacation park. Therefore you can enjoy a lot of facilities: a heated indoor pool, cosy brasserie with takeaway service, tennis, ping-pong, volleyball and soccer, basketball and badminton, petanque, 2 playgrounds, laundry, ... Peace, space and nature are central in this small park. The staff is fluent in English, German and Dutch, among other languages.

From the lodge you can walk straight into the fields and forests. The lively Durbuy with its top gastronomy is within walking distance (2.5km). Also Adventure Valley (fun for the kids), is nearby.

About this accommodation
The lodge is compact (75m2) but well furnished so that you experience a lot of space and comfort. It is suitable for max 4/5 persons. From the sitting room you can enjoy a beautiful view. Here you can relax in comfortable armchairs. There is a reading corner (small library) and a pirate chest with board games. There is also a decent music system, a TV with hdmi connection for gaming computers, access to some 15 TV channels, a DVD/blueray player, contemporary CDs and DVDs, reading books, guides about the region, magazines and free wifi. The owners of the accommodation love to cook. Their kitchen is very well equipped: a 4-burner gas stove with wok burner, extractor hood, combi-oven with steam function, a refrigerator, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster, plenty of pots and pans, quality kitchen utensils and a dishwasher. There is also a small initial stock (Nespresso cups, tea, sugar, salt and pepper, oil and vinegar, ...) and in the summer months fresh herbs on the terrace. The dining area has a modern dining table with a view of the birds flying in and out. There is plenty of beautiful crockery and cutlery. Sleep in a spacious, electrically adjustable double bed (1st bedroom) or in one of the 3 single beds (2nd bedroom and vidé). Quality mattresses, winter and summer comforters, mosquito nets, blackout curtains, artwork and nice details are provided throughout. In the cosy bathroom you will find a sink, a spacious step-in shower, a toilet with an advanced odor extraction system, a hair dryer and fun, decorative details.

And then there is the floating terrace: the view here is phenomenal, you can almost touch the treetops. The terrace is equipped with a table, chairs, parasol and sitting/lounging chairs. A staircase leads to the small garden: for sunbathing (lounger) or lazing in the hammock.

The lodge is suitable for those sensitive to allergies: no pets, no smoking, leather seats and everything is crisp and clean. Parking is in front of the door, no need to climb stairs.

Surroundings
You will not get bored in this region. There is so much to do: hiking, cycling, mountain biking, kayaking, (mini) golf, skiing, fishing, Adventure Valley, caves, castles, picturesque Ardennes villages, towns, museums, wildlife parks, markets, ... All easily accessible from the lodge.

The lodge is located in a Unesco Global Geopark: an area with a strong identity distinguished by its landscapes and its world geological heritage.
