The accommodation
The wagon has been transformed into a romantic accommodation for two, using recycled materials and beautiful details. The four-poster bed for two is perfect for a romantic weekend getaway and the small table with two chairs from the thrift store offer a cosy place to have breakfast.
You can cook for yourself in the basic kitchenette with gas stove, refrigerator and sink. Relax on the porch and enjoy the peace and quiet and the view.
Bed linen and towels are included, and the campsite's sanitary building offers a shower, toilet and running water.
The surroundings
Rekken is a small village in the province of Gelderland, surrounded by natural beauty and history. There are several activities and attractions in the area:
Hiking and biking: Rekken is located in a rural area and has many beautiful hiking and biking routes. For example, you can take a walk through the "Het Rekkense Landschap" or along the river Berkel. About 30 minutes drive from Rekken is the recreational area Het Rutbeek. Here you can swim, surf, canoe, walk and cycle. A 20-minute drive from Rekken is Ruurlo Castle, a beautiful castle dating back to the 14th century. The castle has an impressive collection of paintings by the artist Carel Willink.

Nice small-scale campground. Not too crowded and nice location. Really back to basics but in a nice, cozy way. Charming little Pipo wagon, nicely decorated. A bit musty in terms of smell. But nothing a scented candle can't solve. Very friendly.
Leuke kleinschalige camping. Niet te druk en mooie ligging. Echt back to basic maar op een leuke, knusse manier. Charmant klein Pipo wagentje, leuk ingericht. Wel wat muf qua geur. Maar niets wat een geurkaarsje niet kan oplossen. Zeer vriendelijk.
