The castle has several period rooms and tower rooms in which the rich history can literally be felt. The rooms are all 'historically' decorated with modern facilities. So you sleep on a comfortable bed and have access to a private bathroom.

On the forecourt of the castle there is a catering establishment in the coach house. Here you can come in every season and every day for lunch, coffee and cake or a drink.
The surroundings
The castle is located on a nearly 600-acre estate between Doetinchem and Westendorp. The estate is also home to St. Willibrord's Abbey of the Benedictine monastic order. The surroundings are perfect for a walking or cycling tour. The castle is about 4 kilometers from the lovely town of Doetinchem. The center of Doetinchem offers a variety of stores, restaurants and terraces. Several museums can also be found in the vicinity of the castle.

Op het voorplein van het kasteel bevindt zich in het koetshuis een horecagelegenheid. Hier kun je in je elk seizoen en elke dag terecht voor een lunch, koffie met gebak of een drankje.
De omgeving
Het kasteel ligt op een bijna 600 ha grote landgoed tussen Doetinchem en Westendorp. Op het landgoed is ook de Sint-Willibrordsabdij van de kloosterorde der benedictijnen gevestigd. De omgeving leent zich uitstekend voor een wandel- of fietstocht. Het kasteel is ongeveer 4 kilometer van de leuke stad Doetinchem verwijderd. Het centrum van Doetinchem biedt een verscheidenheid aan winkels, restaurants en terrassen. In de omgeving van het kasteel zijn ook diverse musea te vinden.

We enjoyed the accommodation immensely. Friendly reception, welcoming and such beautiful things to see. You get to go throughout the castle which is quite special. The breakfast is also delicious! We will definitely go back again.
