Secluded and cute cottage with no neighbors

This cute little house from 1869 is completely secluded. This former farm stands in the Normandy countryside on a huge plot with a private driveway. Around the cottage you see mostly hills, corn and grain fields. It is a nice place to stay for people who want to get back to nature!

You are completely alone here with the deer and wild boars, there are no neighbours and the owner is not there. The only building in the meadow area is the old barn on the property. Come and enjoy total peace and the feeling of being alone in the world in the beautiful Normandy countryside.

The cottage is very basic furnished. On the first floor there is a huge wood stove (free wood is available), a washing machine and a kitchenette with all the basics you need for cooking, a (sleeping) couch and a fridge with a freezer. On the second floor is a double bed, a (romantic) bathtub and a workspace. In the attached barn is a COMPOST TOILET (!) sawdust is available.

In short: the house is simple but located in a beautiful and very secluded place. In the neighbourhood there is much to do. The cottage has all the necessities but the toilet is a compost toilet.

Surroundings
From the cottage you can walk directly through the beautiful countryside. In Tinchebray you do your shopping in 10 minutes. Or take a day trip to the beach, the D-day museum, one of the many Norman castles or Mont Saint-Michel. Normandy is beautiful.

* Bed linen and towels are not included. Only a pillow with a clean cover, a clean comforter cover and a tea towel are provided.
