Nostalgic saloon car from 1955

This beautiful recently renovated saloon car was built in 1955. The saloon wagon is located near the tourist art town of Ootmarsum and can be rented for a stay for 2-4 people. The nostalgic wagon of over 12 metres long is located on a small park on a dead-end lane that leads to a meadow with horses. From the accommodation you can walk or cycle straight into the beautiful, idyllic Springendal/Twentse coulis landscape with woods, heathland, moraines and crystal clear streams and waterfalls. Deer roam freely and in the morning you will be woken by the twittering of birds, squirrels in the trees and bunnies hopping in the garden. This is a blissful place to unwind, enjoy the fantastic nature and discover Twente.

The saloon car
In the wagon you will find a bright modern living/dining room with sliding doors to a simple kitchen (with Nespresso coffee machine), a bedroom with a double bed and a passage to an extension with a 2x1p bed. Separate simple shower, toilet, hallway. In the living room is a nice gas fireplace. Lovely terraces outside in the green wooded garden of 400 m2. On the porch dining for 4, in the garden several seats.

The salon wagon is located on a small, friendly park where there is also a camping area. However, the wagon is privately situated on a plot of 400 m2 and between the detached houses, so you do not have the idea of being on a campsite. A lovely spot for cyclists, hikers and nature lovers who want to discover, in addition to tranquillity, the conviviality and friendliness of cosy Twente! Wifi at the reception is fine, on site there is no TV or the internet.

The salon car is located less than 2 kilometres from picturesque art town Ootmarsum. Directly in the enchanting nature of Het Springendal, with moraines, woods, fens and hilly Twente vistas!
