Staying overnight in the Drenthe countryside

This unique designer cabin can be found on a beautiful property of about 2 hectares in Drenthe. The nature cabin can be booked for anyone looking for peace and nature. Nature lovers therefore feel at home here, and come back again and again.

The designer cabin was designed by artist-architect Rolf Bruggink. The accommodation has a spectacular view of the sunset. The holiday home can accommodate a total of 4 people. Inside you will find two sleeping places for two persons each (quality roll-out mattress), a spacious shower, toilet and a kitchenette. On the second floor is the dining table and unfolds the view of the beautiful Drenthe countryside, complemented by fine details such as Pastoe chairs, a lovely warm sheepskin on the stone floor and a ceiling constructed from reused parts of a former pigsty. Outside, there are lovely chairs, and a fire pit overlooking the setting sun.

From the parking lot, it is about a 5-minute walk; fortunately, we have carts to transport your things. In wet periods do bring boots! In addition to this cabin, there are several more nature huts on the property.

Dogs, if leashed, are welcome. We love dogs ourselves and understand better than anyone else how nice it is to be able to take your beloved four-legged friend(s) on holiday and go for lovely long walks together.

Food
There is also a nature camp and eatery on the property. This is a special and attractive place, in the middle of nature, for culinary enthusiasts who enjoy informal dining. Nice outside when the weather is nice, relaxed inside in the winter months. The owners are happy to welcome you for a delicious lunch, drinks and/or dinner on Friday from 5 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. and Saturday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. On Saturdays and Sundays between 8.30 - 9.30 a.m., breakfasts can possibly be picked up here (only bookable directly with the landlord after your booking). At the dining house, there is also a building with a washing machine, a dryer, a chess set, an owl closet, easy chairs and many books and games for guests. For the little ones, there is also a trampoline, swings and some bicycles.

Surroundings
Yes, you can book this accommodation for 1 night. But if you really want to get away from it all, do yourself a favour and book at least 2 nights. This way you will really get away from it all and have plenty of time to take a beautiful walk in the area.
