Stay in a Tiny House

This cute tiny house can be found on a small-scale and child-friendly family campsite on the border of the Dutch provinces of Drenthe and Overijssel. The accommodation is located at the edge of the campsite and can be rented for stays up to 4 people.

The space
It is a nice, small and cosy tiny house with its own terrace. The cottage has a kitchen with a stove. There is a bunk bedstead where there is room for 2 people both below and above. The beds have Tempur mattresses. There are no sanitary facilities in the cottage, but on the campsite there is a beautiful sanitary building where you can shower (pay machine). Outside, you have access to a terrace with furniture. There are wifi and heating in the accommodation. Pillows and comforters are provided in the cottage (no linen, towels or tea towels are provided).

The campsite
At the campsite you will undoubtedly feel right at home. For children there is a swimming pool (open from April and during the summer months) which is always a great success. The campsite also has wifi coverage everywhere. There is a restaurant on the park with a terrace and a takeaway along the forest path for coffee, tea, ice cream and small snacks. There is also a small store for daily provisions including delicious fresh bread rolls.

Surroundings
From the campground you can easily make trips to many attractions and sites throughout the province of Overijssel and Drenthe. In the immediate vicinity, you can make excellent walks and bike tours, but there are also several villages and towns nearby that are worth a visit. Places like Giethoorn, Hoogeveen, Meppel and Staphort are a short distance away, but also cities like Almelo, Assen and Zwolle are easily accessible from our campsite. Less than 1.5 km from the cottage is a beautiful large swimming lake with beach. There is much to do here including sub and canoe rental and you can take diving lessons. At 4 km there is a beautiful, large cosy sauna complex where you can have a good time for several hours.

Other things to pay attention to
Before arrival you need to report to the reception. Here you pay € 4, - pp per night for tourist tax, use the pool, use dog playing field. For a pet you pay €2,50 per night (also payable at the reception).
