Austrian vacation home in Gelderland

This special vacation home, with Austrian feel, makes you feel as if you are in the Alps. But nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, this wooden vacation home can be found in a beautifully situated vacation park right on the water of a large recreational lake. The Veluwe and the Veluwezoom are also close to the park. Wonderful for a long walk or bike ride. And if that is not enough, there are also numerous facilities at the park that will make your vacation even more enjoyable.

The vacation home
The vacation home for 5 persons has a large garden and you will enjoy a lot of privacy here. You enter through a small hall into the living room (with a large sofa, dining table and TV). On the TV in the living room, you can watch both German and Dutch television programs. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need during your vacation (including a normal filter coffee maker, a Tassimo, a microwave and dishwasher). Upstairs are 3 bedrooms, one with a nice balcony. The bedrooms are as follows: 1x with box spring bed in 180x200m with walk-in closet. 1x small double bed in 140x200m, 1 chest of drawers and storage space in the bed drawers. 1x bunk bed in 80x200m extendable to 160x200m, a desk and a chest of drawers. All rooms and the kitchen have a smart TV. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, sink and toilet. Through the 2 large double doors in the living room, you get to the covered terrace. Here you can enjoy the outdoors during the warmer days.

Park facilities
To fully enjoy your vacation, all imaginable facilities are available. Like a swimming pool with slide and paddling pool (only open during the summer months), swimming lake with a private beach, fishing pond, playgrounds, panna field, bowling alley, bicycle and boat rental, laundromat, animation team (high season) and a marina. If you prefer to stay inside, you will find at the park a cafeteria, restaurant, sports café, beach bar (April-Sept.) and Poolbar(April-Sept.). There is also Wi-Fi at the park (fee).

Surroundings
From the vacation park, you can easily visit the places Doesburg and Rheden. Doesburg is one of the seven Hanseatic cities on the river IJssel. This old city has a beautiful historic centre, several interesting museums and beautiful monuments. If you want to visit a big city, you can reach Arnhem by car in no time. Here you can go shopping or grab a terrace. Fun day trips such as the Apenheul, Children's Amusement Park Julianatoren, the Dutch Open-Air Museum and Burgers' Zoo also are all close to the vacation park.
