About this accommodation
This spacious 6-person forest house stands on the small private forest park in the middle of nature. The park is located in the heart of the Drents-Friese Wold. The park belongs to one of the most beautiful national parks in the Netherlands. From the house you have a magnificent view over the fields and you can walk straight into the woods. This means tranquillity, space and lots of natural beauty to the spot.
The vacation home
The spacious bright country-style house (100m2) is wheelchair accessible and has a cozy living room where you can relax by the fireplace after a nice walk in the woods. TV and wifi (fibreglass) are available. Of course, the house has a neat kitchen with a fridge / freezer, microwave and cozy dining area. There are 3 spacious bedrooms, 1 downstairs and 2 upstairs. Downstairs there is a spacious bathroom and separate toilet. Upstairs there is a second bathroom. The forest house has a sheltered plot of over 1400 m2 with beautiful views. So you have complete privacy. Parking is available on private property. Dogs are allowed in the cottage (at extra cost).
The surroundings
Step out the front door and you have access to 6,100 acres of National Park, The Drents Friese Wold. With over 40 hiking trails and miles of bike paths & mountain bike trails. In a circle of 10 kilometres around the house, there is plenty to do. And for the kids? The children can romp in the garden, in the playground at the Forest Park and, of course, build huts in the woods. In Dwingeloo, in addition to an outdoor swimming pool, there is also an adventure park, a challenging height course and a traffic & amusement park (at 10 km). But also play farm "De Drentse Koe" in Ruinerwold is an ideal outing for the kids (even in less weather). Cool off in the summer? You will certainly succeed in the "Canadameer", the "Blue Lake" in Smilde or the heated outdoor pool in Appelscha. Barbecuing, relaxing, cycling, mountain biking, hiking, cooking, working, watching a movie, cooking or "just doing nothing" it's all possible here. Beautiful and tastefully furnished vacation home. Fine quiet location on the edge of the small vacation park. Fenced garden so also ideal with dogs and you walk from the park into the beautiful woods. Would love to come back again.
Prachtig en met smaak ingericht vakantiehuis. Fijne rustige ligging aan de rand van het kleine vakantiepark. Omheinde tuin dus ook ideaal met honden en je loopt vanuit het parkje zo de prachtige bossen in. Komen graag nog een keer terug.
