Wellness House with sauna, hot tub, stove

Come and relax at the edge of the forest in this wellness Wikkelhuisje with a sustainably heated private sauna and (automatic) hot tub. This Wikkelhuisje stands with another special accommodation on a property with 'rescued' pigs, goats, chickens, dogs and a cat in an ecological residential area in Almere. On one side of the property you can see special architecture and the forest on the other side.

The Wikkelhuisje is the ideal accommodation for people who are not looking for a five-star hotel room, but purely want to enjoy a stay where all things in life fade into the background! The tiny house consists of one room, with Yumeko's lovely bed next to the stove - which you can also cook on if it pleases you, a fully equipped kitchen with induction stove and a toilet and small shower enclosed with sliding doors. The whole atmosphere all made of wood and really TINY creates the cosiest atmosphere.

Sauna and hot tub
The sauna and hot tub are both automatically heated: the electric mini sauna is connected to the 24 solar panels. The beautiful wooden hot tub is heated automatically with biofuel. So, you don't have to chop wood! The hot tub is filled with fresh water (and thus without having to use harmful chemicals) and with the push of a button the beautiful tiny hot tub is heated for you. Relaxed bathing guaranteed under the stars! If you are lucky, you may see a fox walking through the garden at night, or an owl perched on the ridge of the Wikkelhuisje.

The house is largely heated by the sun through the large glass facade. The house has a heat pump that can both heat and cool. When it gets a bit chilly, you can enjoy the cute 'The Hobbit' stove, specially made for tiny houses. It is not allowed to bring your own wood, for safety and environmental reasons. Don't worry, you can buy wood on location. A large basket with kiln-dried firewood, firelighters, kindling wood and matches for €15 per basket. You can request and pay for this on the spot.

The terrain
The landlord of this accommodation lives on the same property. They take care of the animals and work in the biologic garden. Of course, you can enjoy privacy if it pleases you. On site, you can also rent 2 city bikes.

Surroundings
In the surroundings of Almere, there is a lot to do. Go to Stadslandgoed De Kemphaan, for the organic market on Saturday, or to climb in the forest. Within half an hour by train or car you are in the centre of Amsterdam, the Oostvaardersplassen or the boat to Marker Wadden, or to shop at Batavia Outlet in Lelystad. In Almere and the Gooi (just across the bridge) you can go shopping, grab a terrace or visit a nice museum. When the weather is nice, you can also relax by the water in Almere harbor. Rent a boat or go for a swim! The latter we do ourselves year around in the Vaart, a 10-minute walk from our house. So fans of the Wim Hof method can also enjoy themselves here! On weekends, you can pick up homemade food from several people's homes here. Highly recommended!

- Essential oil for the sauna (eucalyptus)
- Coffee beans and bean grinder
- Loose organic teas
- Various spices, pepper, salt, cooking oil, rubbish bags, toilet paper, etc.
- All cooking utensils (pans, cutlery, crockery is all there)
- Fresh eggs from our own chickens based on availability (when the ladies are in good spirits. In the winter, they often go dormant)

Also ask the landlord about organic vegan meal kits with all ingredients for a homemade one-pot meal and breakfast (to be made on the induction plate or on the stove in the cast iron Dutch Oven pan in the cottage).
