Completely plastic-free room in old rectory

This old parsonage from 1862 in North Brabant is home to a boutique hotel. Besides its unique location, the hotel is special for another reason. The hotel has the only completely plastic-free room in the Netherlands! With this room, the hotel tries to spread awareness that living without plastic is very possible.

The room is created thanks to various collaborations that have ensured that only alternatives to plastic are used. The hotel shows that it can be done without sacrificing comfort. The room is equipped with a rain shower, a separate toilet, books, games and a lovely COCO-MAT bed for an amazing night's sleep.

Breakfast
All dishes offered at the à la carte breakfast are freshly prepared using as many local products as possible, and food waste is kept to a minimum. Thus, even your breakfast is sustainable, giving you an extra good feeling to start the day with!

Surroundings
There are several nature parks near the hotel where you can walk or cycle. In addition, there are also fun things to do in the immediate vicinity. For example, a few minutes' walk from the hotel is the Alpacafarm Riethoven. The two young, enthusiastic owners have 14 cute (and special) alpacas that they love to introduce to you. It is possible to go on walks with the alpacas or take a look in the barn. Another opportunity for a fun trip is the Wijngaard Doornacker. It is a small-scale vineyard in the center of Riethoven. The first wine was bottled in 2020 and, according to wine experts, immediately belonged to one of the best Dutch wines!
