Authentic former cell in boutique hotel

This almost 200-year-old monumental building was used as the town hall of Lage and Hooge Zwaluwe and Moerdijk for many years. At the end of the last century, it lost this function and after a thorough restoration, a unique boutique hotel opened in the building in 2021. The hotel has a number of beautiful rooms with a unique atmosphere.

The field guard used to have 2 small cells in the town hall. The cells have been merged into 1 special hotel room. In the room, you can still see some authentic elements from that time. Important information: these are real former cells, which means that there are no windows that look out on the outside. This cell room has a cozy double bed (140×200), a shower, a toilet and several facilities such as Wi-Fi and a TV. The hotel can even arrange a pair of prison pajamas for your stay!

Every morning a delicious breakfast is served at the hotel (included in the price).

Surroundings
This boutique hotel has an ideal location if you want to do something in the area. Visit for example De Biesbosch National Park. Here you can make wonderful bike or hiking tours. But cities like Breda and Tilburg are also just a fifteen-minute drive away. Would you rather visit an even bigger city? Rotterdam is only about 30 km from the hotel.
