Forest cottage with stunning panoramic views

This beautifully situated forest cottage for 2 persons has a beautiful panoramic view over the forests and farmlands of Drenthe. It is a cottage (45m2) with a full glass front and is located on a forest plot with 20 other cottages. The cozy natural house is still in an authentic sixties style and therefore has a funny own character. The cottage is ideal for anyone who wants to relax and wants to make a nice walk or bike ride.

The cottage consists of a bedroom with a double bed (140 by 200cm), bathroom with shower and toilet, living room and kitchen. In the living room, there is a good working gas heater. Outside is a large terrace where you can enjoy "being outside". Have a chat or read a good book and who knows, you might see a squirrel, woodpecker or deer. At the house there are 2 free bikes available. Suitable for stays of 2 persons. Bed linen and towels are provided.

The nature house is located just outside Eeserveen on the Drenthe Hondsrug in a beautiful quiet nature reserve, between Emmen and Borger. It borders the forestry Odoorn with its beautiful forests and large sheep heath where you can walk or cycle from the cottage. In the forest there is a restaurant and a watchtower for coffee, drinks or dinner. Nearby are also the extensive forests of Schoonloo and Grolloo and the Drenthe Aa National Park. The beautiful lake Nije Hemelriek is also nearby. In short, a region for beautiful walking and cycling. There are also several smaller swimming lakes and, of course, you can visit the dolmens.
