This stylish suite in the tower of the oldest church in Arnhem is, without a doubt, one of the most special places to stay in the Netherlands. The church has a rich history that goes back more than 700 years. The church served as a prison and an armory around the time of the iconoclasm. King Louis Napoleon, King of the Netherlands from 1806 to 1810, returned the church to the Catholics. After the church was desecrated in 2013, hotel rooms were realized in the 2 towers. The main hall of the church is now used as an exhibition space.

The theme of this luxury room is a reference to the Roman castellum (fortress) discovered in Arnhem's Meinerswijk district, south of the Rhine. The fort was built around the beginning of our era and was part of the Limes, the northern border of the Roman Empire, which has been on UNESCO's World Heritage List since July 2021.

In the luxury room, you will experience a natural blend of contemporary luxury and rich history with numerous references to the Roman past. The accommodation has a master bedroom with a double bed, and a bathroom en suite with shower, bathtub, and double sink. In addition, there is a bedroom with a double bed and a smaller bathroom with a shower and sink. There is a separate toilet room. You can also make use of a fully equipped kitchen with built-in appliances, a sitting area with smart TV and a dining area, coffee and tea-making facilities, heating, air conditioning, and free wifi.

It is possible to book breakfast. This costs € 15.00 per person. Parking is possible on private property directly in front of the church for € 10.- per car per night.

The church is perfectly located for anyone who wants to spend a weekend in Arnhem and its surroundings. From the church, you can walk straight into the center of Arnhem. Here you can go shopping or enjoy a drink on a terrace. There is also a lot to do in the Arnhem area. Take a visit to Burgers' Zoo, the Dutch Open Air Museum, or the National Park De Hoge Veluwe. Don't forget to visit the remains of the castellum!
