Romantic forest cottage with fireplace

This beautiful wooden forest house is located on a private piece of forest of a small estate. Through the large windows, in the cottage, you have a peak right into nature! The cottage is located about 600 meters from the centre of the village of Vierhouten.

The romantic holiday home was completely renovated in 2018 and equipped with all modern conveniences. The nature cottage is suitable for two people. On the mezzanine is a bedroom with a large 180x200 box spring bed (note: only accessible via a steep staircase). The authentic and spacious bathroom has a claw foot bathtub, a separate shower and a toilet. The kitchen is equipped with a 4-burner induction hob, an oven, a large fridge, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a kettle and a 'Nespresso' machine. There is no regular TV, but there is a TV which can be used to watch programs via the Internet.

The house has a central heating and is therefore very comfortable in winter. Want to make it even cosier? Then light the fireplace! When the weather is nice, you can sit on the terrace behind the house and enjoy nature and peace. From here you can walk straight into the forest.

The house stands next to two other accommodations on the edge of the estate. The house is situated so that you can enjoy your privacy. You share your surroundings with deer, roe deer and wild boars. You also have access to the fenced area of the estate where the two donkeys, Sam and Frodo, enjoy life and love to be taken for a walk in the woods.

To fully enjoy the surroundings, we recommend a minimum stay of 3 nights.

Dogs are allowed at €35 per dog per stay. Please read the house rules on dogs and, after booking, please let us know if you bring a dog. It is not possible to bring a cat or other pets.
